Ryan Merket
CEO & Co-Founder
Ryan is the CEO and Founder of AppGalleries.com. He is the
keeper of the AppGalleries vision and ensures our product, goals, and marketing are in alignment.
Before AppGalleries, Ryan was a Partner Engineer at Facebook. He helped top media publishers and API partners conceptualize Facebook Connect integrations and onFacebook app integrations. Prior to working at Facebook, Ryan worked as a Senior Social Designer for CBS Interactive. There he built Facebook applications and helped launch the first-ever public facing Facebook Connect Implementation on CBS’s TheInsider.Com.
In 2008, Ryan co-founded Workstir.com. Workstir connects local service providers with consumers that have needs. Ryan also co-founded Ping.fm (acquired by Seesminc in 2010), a website application that allows users to blast a micro-blog to nearly all social networks and micro-blog services.
Ryan proudly lives in Oakland, CA, with his wife, Jenn, and his cat, Emerson. He loves everything design—from a slick UI design to the typography on street signs.

Nalin Mittal
CTO & Co-Founder
Nalin is the CTO and Co-Founder of
AppGalleries.com. He is an entrepreneur who
has a passion for creating consumer
web-based software.
Nalin gained a wealth of experience through working with a number of start-ups. He began his career as a technology consultant for Sapient. He then served as the chief architect for Data Advantage Group’s flagship product, MetaCenter. At DAG he was issued two patents for his work on metadata management technologies. Nalin has also worked a Sales Consultant for Pegasystems and as a Product Manager for DanceJam.com.
Most notably, Nalin founded Blue Sky Labs. Here he created My.Zappos.com, a social shopping experience for Zappos.
Nalin loves spending time with his friends and family. He is passionate about building web applications and making music, and he enjoys watching sports and plauing poker. He has been living in San Francisco since 1999, and he never wants to move.

Steve Bennet
CFO
The best way to describe Steve is start-up CFO guy. Steve takes
CFO roles in early stage companies and participates on the
management team during the early financing and business model
development phases. He is an active angel investor and on the
board of Sand Hill Angels. Steve also teaches Entrepreneurial
Finance at San Jose State University.
Steve lives in Palo Alto with his wife, two daughters (one who started blogging way before he did and the other who runs faster than he does), dog, and crested gecko. On the 3rd Saturday of the month, you can find Steve on the links at Half Moon Bay.

Tim Jones
Community Director
Tim Jones is a Bay Area native who began working for web startups in 2008 and quickly fell in love with the startup
mentality. Tim first began working at DanceJam.com, MC Hammer’s own social network for dancers. From there he moved onto Metacafe, where he helped build the community around new products and features.

Ray Morales
Sales Director
Born and raised in San Francisco, Ray Morales is the Director of Sales at AppGalleries. In this role, he his responsible for establishing relationships with key decision makers while promoting the AppGalleries product suite. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with C Level executives of top 500 Internet Retailers & is always thrilled to present modern technology solutions to traditional minded retailers.
Ray is actively engaged in the startup community; during his free time you can find him networking at local hackathons, meetups and demo days. He obtained a BS degree in Business Marketing and plans to pursue a Masters Degree in the future.

Emily Basileo
Director of Operations & Revenue
Emily reigns from the East Coast, where she bartended at one of the top clubs in NYC.
When she is not juggling knives at AppGalleries, she does bottle service at Temple SF. She loves learning and is always tackling new and exciting projects outside of work. She also dedicates much of her free time to a women's philanthropy group in the Bay Area.
Emily's favorite food is watermelon, and her favorite meal is brunch. YUM.

Lukasz Mlynek
Senior Engineer
Lukasz most recently founded his own Ruby on Rails development business, where he employed multiple engineers and managed many high profile projects from start to completion. Lukasz is a certified PRINCE2 Foundation Project Manager, received his BSc in Internet Technologies from Jagiellonian University, MSc in TeleComputing from Cracow University of Technology, and was faculty of Computer Science at University Bedfordshire in the England.
Grzegorz Forysinski
Senior Engineer
Prior to AppGalleries, Grzegorz (Greg) was the CTO of Railwaymen.org, a Ruby on Rails development company based in Cracow, Poland. Greg has an MSc in Computer Science from Cracow University of Technology and was faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Greg is a Ruby on Rail contributor and is also proficient in, Java, Ruby on Rails 2.3.8, MySQL, Nginx, Unicorn, Sphinx, AJAX, CSS/HTML, JS/jQuery/jQuery Mobile, Paypal API Integration, Git, and Capistrano.
